Set of two snuffboxes: -Carved corozo and decorated on the first with the workshop of a blacksmith at work. It bears the name "Dubuisson" in incised handwriting. The reverse is decorated with a lively scene of a couple at a table drinking. Under the table are two children and a dog. Richly decorated with flowers and a grotesque bearded face at the end. 19th century. L. 8 cm Accident with missing lid, cracks. -The second is decorated with a lively scene of a woman kneeling in front of a baby in a basket, responding to a man wearing a gourd on his belt, hiding an imploring woman. The reverse is decorated with a trophy made of musical instruments. The borders are underlined by classical friezes of flowers and foliage. 19th century.
