Set of two snuffboxes Turned burr wood, lenticular shape One decorated with cut and applied brass motifs, creating a central monstrance on an altar, shouldered by a single church candlestick and two alternating flowers on the lid, which is monogrammed "BH" and dated "1825", both engraved. The heart is accompanied by commas at the hinge. The rim is underlined by a frieze decorated with a simple engraved interlace and openwork fleurons. The hinge is in good condition and the lid is recessed.
