Set of two snuff boxes
Made of walnut, oak and metal. The first is a cooper’s snuff box, modelled on a rounded, oval-shaped barrel, assembled from staves and adorned with copper hoops. Recessed lid with a metal hinge. The second snuffbox belonged to a bricklayer, with his tools carved onto the lid: a trowel, a plumb line and a pickaxe. Recessed lid with metal hoops.
