Set of two glasses bearing a family name
Made of blown and cut glass and semi-crystal. One stemmed glass, bearing the date and the family name engraved ‘1858 // OCTAVE // GUENARD’, within a wreath of flowering branches and leaves, held together by a ribbon bow. The bowl has bevelled sides, a fluted stem and a circular base. The second glass is a tankard, bearing the following engraved surname and inscription: ‘Coulombel // Captain of Customs at Avesnelles’, set within a wreath of flowers and foliage.
