Set of four bread stamps
Made of wood, carved from a single piece. Various designs, including one bearing the monogram ‘FD’, with an openwork handle adorned with a four-leaf clover, set within a circle decorated with a frieze of wolf’s teeth, featuring an interlaced pattern before the stamp and a pointed tip at the top. A second design bears the initials ‘JB’ and features a cage-shaped openwork handle, decorated with engraved florets, and a top handle engraved with the letter ‘M’ within a semicircle. Another model bears the initials ‘DG’, with an openwork handle consisting of two slender columns bearing stamps at the ends. It bears the inscription ‘ANO XMVV (???)’ on the edge of one of the stamps. The final mark, carved from wood in the shape of a plaque, is decorated with a blooming flower and extended by a small diamond-shaped handle.
