Melegati, op. cit, Milan, 2000, card no. 208, pp. 218-219) and which include, for example, examples of crockery decorated with the effigy of the crowned Sovereign (d'Agliano, op. cit. 2015, card no. 163 p. 198, also for previous bibliography). Intended for Court use, these ceramics are of remarkable quality, and indeed some of the signatures of the factory's best craftsmen appear here, including Lomello, and among the painters, Carasso. The lot was published in 2014 by Mana (L. Mana in AA. VV., Giardini d'autore, exhibition catalogue, Chieri, 2014, p. 74 n. 2) and again in d'Agliano in 2015 (op. cit, Turin, 2015, card 229, p. 225).
