He also produced miniatures, enamels and earthenware, and his works show great finesse of execution, as in our delicate little composition painted on ivory, depicting in confidence the seductive nude of a bacchante, her back languidly leaning in the shade of a garden against the sheathed, impassive bust of Dyonysos.
