Louis Gardette (active in Paris at the end of the 19th/beginning of the 20th century) In battle Turbulently staged battle scene from the Franco-Prussian War, depicting the fight between the French cavalry and the Prussian soldiers with heavy cannon and impressively capturing the powerful dynamics of a martial battle.
