Lot no. 388
Louis Léopold Thuylant (1862-1916)
Glazed earthenware jug with yellow glaze.
The spout is shaped like a hen's head, as is the stopper, which depicts a hen on her nest. The body is decorated with a pastillage of animals: two goats, two horses, two dogs and a fish. A stamped decoration completes the design, with the potter's handwritten incised inscriptions "pour Mr Moulin" and on the back "fait par Thuylant fils, en 1887 à Prévelle".
