Louis Riché (1877-1949) was a French sculptor, born in Paris on 29 May 1877. A pupil of Gardet and Perrin, he began exhibiting at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1897. He received an honourable mention, a third-class medal in 1903, a second-class medal in 1905, and a gold medal in 1924.
After becoming French in 1905, he also took part in the Salon des Indépendants from 1923. He is represented in public collections by a bronze entitled Chat guettant un papillon (Cat watching for a butterfly), kept at the Musée de Valence.
