Closes with a central 5-groove lock surrounded by 2 gilded brass clasps. Leather handles. Interior trimmed in beige grained fabric, with marked straps and a frame. Inside label circa 1970 (Avenue Marceau Paris and Nice 2 avenue de Suède). Numbered 929746 on the inside and 161358 on the lock. Dimensions 22 x 75 x 50 cm (wear and marks of use, wear to the lozine, oxidation, stains, losses and accidents, traces of moisture inside). The Cabine trunk is one of the House's historic trunks, reflecting a certain art of living and travelling specific to the 19th and 20th centuries. It is named Cabine in reference to its use in the cabins of liners and trains, where it was stored and slid under a bed or bench seat.
