Louis XV walnut toilet cabinet, veneered and with elaborate marquetry of different, partially coloured woods. Straight, rectangular body with curved lower end, merging into sawn feet. The compartmentalised front with two doors, a hinged drawer below and two drawers. Slightly protruding top panel. Wide framed veneer panels with lavish floral inlays and diamond decoration on the back. H. 75 cm. 55 cm x 46 cm.
Provenance: According to the previous owner from the property of the Prince-Bishop of Mainz, Friedrich Karl von Erthal (1719-1802).
