LOUŸS (Pierre). Return from Holland. Autograph sonnet written by three hands. One page in-8. On a sheet. The manuscript is written in Pierre Louys' hand and signed by each of the three authors: Pierre Louys, Henri de Regnier and Marie de Regnier (Marcotte, her personal nickname). The poem was intended for Louise de Hérédia, sister of Marie, future wife of Pierre Louys. The poem was published in the collection "Poémes inédits 1887-1924", illustrated by Chimot and published in 1938. This trip to Amsterdam is very well known, as it was during this stay that Marie de Regnier and Pierre Louys resumed their affair under the nose of their husband and friend, Henri de Regnier.
