HISTORY : The Atlas model of the Christofle menagère was specially designed for the ocean liner Normandie. This emblematic model, created in 1933 by Luc Lanel, Christofle's artistic director, was intended to grace the dining room tables in the liner's first class. The Normandie, which entered service in 1935, represented the pinnacle of transatlantic luxury. The model was also produced in small series for the company's customers in silver 1st title or silver-plated metal.
