Note: Lucien Laforge, born in Paris in 1889, was a maverick cartoonist who published in the anarchist and communist press from 1910. Along with H. P. GASSIER, he was one of the first two cartoonists to work for Le Canard Enchaîné. "Le Film 1914" is his masterpiece, an extraordinary pamphlet on the 1st World War.
