Limited edition of 155 numbered copies on Hollande Van Gelder laid paper, this one being number 82. Covers very slightly rubbed, a few tiny brown spots, otherwise a very fresh copy. Limited edition of 635 copies, this is one of the unnumbered copies on Ingres paper. Enclosed is an issue of the literary and satirical review, les Hommes d'aujourd'hui, volume 9, no. 434, on Maurice Maeterlinck, illustrated with a portrait of the writer by Charles Doudelet. Binding a little rubbed, foxing on some leaves of text, tiny foxing on some plates, a tear without missing in the margin of a leaf of text. In great sympathy". A painter, illustrator and decorator, Rochegrosse notably designed the poster for the premiere of the opera Pelléas et Mélisande by Claude Debussy and Maurice Maeterlinck.
