MARQUIS LANGUEREAU. Large gilt bronze clock, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals surmounted by Latin numerals and a railway, signed "Mson Marquis, Languereau, Paris". Finely worked brass hands. Rich Louis XVI style chased decoration of foliage and garlands of flowers, topped with a fire pot, standing on four bent feet. Dimensions 58 x 41 x 18 cm (missing key, pendulum, back cover, glass, dial out of alignment).
