MALRAUX (André). Lunes en papier. Paris, Galerie Simon, 1921. Large in-4, paperback, illustrated folder and slipcase (T. Treille). First edition of André Malraux's first book, an extraordinary surrealist tale illustrated with 7 woodcuts by Fernand Léger, and dedicated to Max Jacob. The Simon gallery was run by Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler, who hired André Malraux as editor, while Fernand Léger was one of the artists, who illustrated his first book here.
