A "mosquito" mask with a long trunk-like nose, which in reality represents a mythical male "parak" spirit who plays a crucial role in the initiation of young men and in hunting. Height: 44 cm. Width: 15 cm. Slight restoration. Provenance : -Private collection, Blois. Acquired from the Cabinet Civilisations (Hervé Naudy), certificate attached.
