First edition of Éluard's poems, composed to "illustrate" the 54 drawings by Man Ray; followed by a set of portraits and details by Man Ray. Edition of 675 copies. One of 650 on chester vergé after 25 on japon impérial; this one, signed by Man Ray and Paul Eluard, is printed for Dr. Henri Laugier. Physiologist, Resistance fighter and then senior civil servant, he took part in drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, created the WHO and was a member of UNESCO.
