MANNEQUIN. National Guard artilleryman consisting of a rare dark blue cloth kepi with garance cordonnets, brass front badge with crossed cannons and grenade, ventilation button on top, cotton cloth inner cap, leather headband, black cloth tunic with garance collar, sleeve cuffs and piping, brass buttons with crossed barrels marked "Garde Nationale Mobile", dark blue trousers with scarlet side stripes (regulation model of 3rd Republic manufacture), belt with plate model 1845, sword-holder and sword model 1831, boots (later than the period). All presented on a mannequin. Circa 1870-1871. Wear and tear, a few moth holes, minor restorations.
