Set evoking a chief warrant officer of the 7th regiment of Algerian Tirailleurs (formed in 1913 in Constantine) consisting of the polo kepi (in the rank of second lieutenant) in garance cloth, headband in light blue cloth, gilt rank brackets, inner cap in black satinette (wear from use, visor stuck back), tunic model 1893 in light blue cloth with daffodil collar decorated with gold embroidered numbered tabs, fastened at front with 9 gold studs, gold spearhead braid with scarlet herringbone, scarlet silk crevéees, light blue cotton lining, floaty trousers in grey cloth with sky blue side piping, blackened leather revolver holster with shoulder strap, modern shoes. Circa 1913-1915. Presented on a mannequin sold with this lot. ABE
