Infantry soldier consisting of a 27e de ligne model 1867 shako in madder cloth-covered felt with dark blue headband, daffodil cockade cords and strap, metallic tricolour cockade, double pompom, cut-out daffodil cloth number, leather inner headband and chinstrap, marked by the commission de vérification, dated 1868, a model 1867 tunic in dark blue cloth, daffodil collar and piping, brass buttons of the 47th and 4th of the line, cotton canvas lining marked 47th of the line, garance epaulettes dated 3rd quarter 1870, blue cotton tie, garance trousers model 1867 marked 170th of the line (3rd Republic manufacture), belt model 1845 with brass plate, bayonet holder with Chassepot blade bayonet marked September 1870, gaiters and brodequins (later). The set is presented on a mannequin that has been personalised. Wear and tear, a few moth holes, minor restorations. Second Empire period. ABE
