Evening coat by Mariano Fortuny, circa 1920-1930, open coat in green silk velvet with gold and silver print, decorated with undulating stems and pomegranates inspired by Italian velvets of the second half of the 15th century. Boudin trim in similar brown velvet, cuffs trimmed with stapled tabs. Flesh-colored satin lining bearing the claw under the collar and a label sewn to an armhole marked GOZZI 086.
