Illustrated with 38 colour compositions, including a frontispiece and 15 full-page illustrations by Georges-Lucien Guyot. Edition of 1000 copies, this being one of 27 copies on Lana vellum containing a watercoloured Indian ink with a signed autograph letter from Georges Guyot to Mr Lucien Tissot Dupont and a suite of illustrations on chine. Enriched copy: - 36 original drawings and preparatory sketches for the illustrations, with handwritten annotations by the illustrator, - a newspaper article entitled "The sculptor Guyot is the image of his work", - 2 autograph letters signed by the artist.
