Small folio, bound in transparent vellum decorated in relief with coloured paper and leather inlays, lined in painted vellum, transparent celluloid endpapers, cover, cloth slipcase (Anne-Lise Courchay). First edition illustrated with a cover and 30 colour compositions by François-Louis Schmied, 7 of which are full-page, wood-engraved in his workshops and under his direction. The book, the design of which was exhibited at the Galerie Petit in December 1925, went to press on 31 October 1930. Edition of 177 copies on Japon signed by the artist, this one of 157 numbered copies.
