[MARECHAL LANNES]. Nicolas Antoine SANSON (1756-1824), French general. Set of three signed letters relating to the funeral of Marshal Lannes, addressed to Lannes' father-in-law, Senator GUÉHENEUC. Paris, June 1810. 3 pp. in-4. Minor creasing. In a frame. -Paris, 11 June 1810: "Monsieur le comte, je vous prie d'avoir la complaisance de me faire remettre le manteau et la toque de M. le Maréchal duc de Montebello [...]". -Paris, 18 June 1810: about the bust of Jean Lannes, with confirmation of receipt dated 22 June. -S.d. "The distribution of tickets for the funeral [...]. The minister has appointed Messieurs St Mars, Guéheneuc [Louis, his brother-in-law], Bussières and Dupuy as the four aides-de-camp [...]".
