The Marguerites de la Marguerite des princesses were published by Simon Silvius, known as Jean de La Haye, squire and valet de chambre to the Queen, who signed the introductory Epistle and to whom the privilege was granted.
The second volume is illustrated with 11 woodcuts in the text by Bernard Salomon, known as Petit Bernard, 10 of which illustrate the poem La Coche. The edition, printed in italics, is decorated with woodcuts, initials and fleurons.
