Folded fan, leaf in fine needle lace, gauze stitch, richly decorated with flowers, adorned with three cartels painted on silk. One depicts a reclining Flora embracing a dove, the second two loves preparing to shoot an arrow, and the last a dove feeding her chicks.
Signed by the French painter Marie Dumas on the right.
Mounted in white mother-of-pearl with pink, blue and green iridescence, pierced, engraved, silvered and gilded with flowers and burgundy.
Metal hanger and tassel.
Height 33.5 cm H.w. 21.5 cm (very good condition, small stain, SMALL CUT)
In a box covered with garnet leather. Inside powder pink silk.
