Rare first edition, illustrated with 3 folding hors-texte plates, after Diday and Dubois, lithographed in black by Charton in Geneva. The views show the Pointe de Sales and the Col d'Anterne, the Abbaye de Sixt and the Tenneverges rock, and the Fer à Cheval in the Sixt valley. The work was reprinted by Slatkine in Geneva in 1979. A good copy.
