Saint Martin. About 1469-1474. Burin. 105 x 155. Bartsch 57; Hollstein, Lehrs 52. Fine proof on laid paper, "wigged" (the image split in the print), trimmed outside the framing net, with the scratch across the M of the monogram. Small traces of grey ink wash at the left edge. Scattered foxing. Surface soiling, the leaf a little grey. Small thinning at the edges of the folio and in the centre, visible through transparency. Small traces of glue in the corners of the verso. Ex-coll. Arthur Wildau (Lugt 2576b); duplicate from the British Museum, London (L. 301 and 305).
