MASSIVE ROMAN BRONZE YOUNG SATYR APPLIQUE.
Ca. AD 100 - 300. A bronze appliqué in the form of a youthful male bust with stylised facial features, short curly hair, and defined pectorals. The figure is draped with a garment rendered in raised, textured folds crossing diagonally across the chest. The reverse is hollow and roughly finished, indicating attachment.
