"Michel Leiris was one of Masson's closest lifelong friends, and one with whom he collaborated on a literary level much more closely than with others" (Saphire-Cramer). Signed autograph letter from André Masson, in pencil, "To Jean Leymarie, affectionately". Slight traces of creasing to spine, covers a little dulled. Missing the two out-of-text lithographs.
