AD 600 A matched pair of gold earrings, each with a curved ear hook above a crescent-shaped frame edged along the outer contour with applied beading, the centre with an openwork panel of two peacocks flanking an upright trefoil with scrolling tendrils below. Size: 31-34mm x 27-28mm; Weight: 8.84g. Provenance: Private London collection; previously French art market 1970s/1980.
