They produce few pieces under their own name, but work for some of the biggest names on Place Vendôme and Rue de la Paix. They work for the whole of Europe, but also with the USA. The Verger hallmark can be found on mechanisms for Lacloche, Van Cleef and Arpels, Tiffany, Cartier and Boucheron, to name but a few. But Verger would be nothing without Vacheron Constantin. The father, Ferdinand, began his career as an agent for this company. He subsequently continued to work with them, before his sons took over after his death in 1928 and continued to do so until 1938. The beautiful productions continued, here an example of complex swaddling resulting in a magnificently articulated torsade, a treasure trove of French craftsmanship.
