From 1898 to 1902, he studied at the Munich Art Academy under Johann Herterich, Ludwig von Herterich, Carl von Marr and Peter von Halm. He then worked in Budapest, Dresden and Berlin, and again in Vienna from 1914. Study trips took him to Italy, Germany and Albania. From 1922 until his early death in 1935, he was an honorary member of the Hagenbund. PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights. In the case of normal taxation (marked ° at the estimate), a premium of 24% is added to the highest bid. The mandatory sales tax is added to the sum of the highest bid and the buyer's premium.
