A previously unrecorded copy, absent from all major bibliographies and library holdings, of this curious medical recipe book attributed to Galen, translated and adapted into the Italian vernacular for a lay and practical audience. The work collects therapeutic preparations, empirical remedies, and Galenic prescriptions for the most common human ailments, based on the principles of humoral medicine.
