MEDIEVAL BRONZE RING WITH ENGRAVED BEZEL Ca. AD 1600. A bronze signet ring with a broad, flat hoop that expands smoothly towards a large circular bezel engraved in shallow relief with a central motif enclosed within a beaded border, consisting of a heraldic shield flanked by curling volutes and surmounted by a stylised crest. The background is filled with stippled punchwork. The shoulders are decorated with incised linear patterns and vertical bands that transition into the plain lower section of the hoop.
