MEDIEVAL LARGE BRONZE HERALDIC SHIELD WITH SALTIRE DESIGN IN BLUE ENAMEL Ca. AD 1400 - 1500. A large bronze heraldic shield of heater shape, decorated with a raised saltire formed by two intersecting diagonal bars retaining traces of blue enamel. Raised rectangular and square motifs fill each field of the shield. Found Rochester, Kent.
