MEDIEVAL MERCHANT'S SILVER SEAL RING Ca. AD 1200 - 1400 . A silver merchant's seal ring with a flat sectioned round hoop that enlarges on the shoulders to form a bezel. The inscription on the bezel depicts a stem comprising a symbol of a barrel and tools. The stem is surrounded by a frame of pseudo inscription and flanked by two stylised wings of feathers.
