Meissen tea service "Blütenreigen" with "Midsummer Night's Dream" decoration by Prof. Heinz Werner for six persons. 15 pieces; teapot, sugar bowl, cream jug, 6 teacups with saucers, 6 cake plates. "Large cut-out" mould. Mould designed by Ludwig Zepner, 1978, decor designed by Prof. Heinz Werner. Design "Blütenreigen". Between atmospheric, blue-toned "blossom clouds" and golden and colourful leaves various, imaginative depictions of elves and fairies as well as other figures from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and various animals such as a squirrel, peacock and salamander, butterfly, bird of paradise and stag beetle. Polychrome painting, partially accentuated with gold and platinum. Gold rim. Form designed by Ludwig Zepner, c. 1967, decoration designed by Prof. Heinz Werner, c. 1969/70, crossed swords mark.
