Abstract depiction of a baroque lady in a blue bodice over a green crinoline skirt with openwork latticework on an elliptical ground plan. Sculpturally worked with freely moulded and embossed, smooth- and cracked-edged, glazed mould elements. Polychrome overglaze painting with broad brushstrokes and etched gold decoration. Designed and executed by Peter Strang (1936 - 2022). Artist's sign. and date "P. Strang Nov. (20)01". Reliefed, ligated artist's monogr. PS (workshop mark). Incised unique no. 357/2001. crossed swords mark. H. 60 cm. 33 cm x 15 cm.
