"to Mr. Gheerbrant, Director of La Hune. I'm sorry I couldn't find the time to go and see you, and to take you to my framer. His work is not yet finished, and will not be until Friday evening. As a result, I have not been able to pay him, as his account has not been settled. If you would like to have the framed drawings taken in due course, here is a note for him. But you will have to pay for the framing, for which I apologise, and which I will reimburse if there is no sale at La Hune. Yours sincerely, HM.
"14 November 1947. Dear Sir, would you please give my watercolours and drawings, numbering 13 (or 12 if you have a drawing), as agreed, to the bearer of Mr Bertelé (Éditions du Point du Jour). Thank you, Henri Michaux.
