Condition and observations The car has been restored and is now presented with discreet and tasteful accessories, including 12" Minilite alloy wheels and a set of four additional headlamps at the front, reminiscent of the rally spirit so dear to the little British car. The exhaust system has also been changed. The bodywork has a nice shine, with satisfactory alignments and clean chrome; a few signs of use remain, in keeping with a car used for occasional outings. A cracked left-hand rear light needs to be replaced. The grey interior, typical of Mayfairs, is clean on the whole: clean headlining, door panels in good condition, untorn fabric upholstery with only slight seat wear on the driver's side. The dashboard retains its Mini steering wheel and is fitted with a modern car radio and door-mounted speakers. The engine compartment shows the normal patina of an older vehicle, with the dashboard insulation showing some wear. The boot appears sound, with the spare wheel and battery in place, and the floor shows only minor surface marks. The running gear is fitted with road tyres in good condition. Start-up and operation were faultless during the test drive. The vehicle comes with four original rims, a Mini cover and a second battery. The vehicle has been kept in a private collection.
