MIRLITON (LE). Paris, 1885-1888 (nos. 1 to 50). - 1890-1893 (nos. 62 to 100); 2 large vol. in-8, red half-calc and green percaline with Oscar Méténier's initials on spine. Famous magazine of amusing Paris with countless figures and caricatures in colour by Steinlen, Ibels, Toulouse-Lautrec (4 covers)... Autograph letter on No. 1 from Aristide Bruant to the artist Mévisto. - The second volume belonged to Oscar Méténier, a man of letters, the son of a police commissioner and a specialist in the Parisian underworld. Enriched with the special issue of La Plume devoted to Bruant by Méténier.
