At the moment, the Ashram is full of visitors. And the dining rooms are too small for the community. But things have been simplified to such an extent that everything is finished in an hour and a half. He's gone back to a seed diet because there's no fruit in many places, and where there is, it's very expensive. At the moment, the best thing is to manage to find as cheap fruit as possible. His food consists of a seed similar to kaffir [kefir], a round reddish seed smaller than a pea. He grinds it coarsely and makes it into porridge, to which he adds a vegetable and a pod, and sometimes treacle. He takes no oil, of course, and no salt. He does well on this diet...
