Struck in Sadhora (Sadgora, ukr. / Sadagora, all. / Sadagura, roum.) in the colony founded in 1770 by Piotr Sadogorski, commander-in-chief of the Russian army in Moldavia and Wallachia, who established a monetary workshop during the Russo-Turkish war of 1768-1774. The region later became Bukovina under the Austrian Empire.
