Only 4 examples graded at NGC: 2 in VF, 1 in 40 and our example, by far the most beautiful known! This copy has hardly circulated, and is covered with a delicate patina. Superb at Fleur de coin. This shield was struck to circulate mainly in Dauphiné and Provence as part of the disengagement of lands given by the King of France in execution of the Treaty of Péronne.
