Richly decorated with chased and gilded bronzes such as espagnolette falls, clasps, friezes of waves, fleurons and aprons. Recessed grey veined white marble top.

Note :
Georges Alphonse Bonifacio Monbro (1807-1884) succeeded his father in 1838 as Monbro Ainé. In 1849, he opened a branch in London and took part in the 1855 Universal Exhibition in Paris at the Palais de l'Industrie. He delivered furniture to the Crown under the July Monarchy.
