Founded in 1555, Chiso specialised in the manufacture of kimonos, mainly for royal and noble families. The company continued to operate in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan, for more than 1,200 years, from the end of the 8th century to the middle of the 19th century. The Chiso team created a unique pattern for this project, paying homage to the company's centuries of history and tradition.
